Just what are the Lenormand cards? Madmoiselle Lenormand has been called the greatest Fortune Teller of all time. In early Nineteenth Century Paris, she reportedly read the fortunes of leaders of the French revolution, Marat, Robespierre, St. Just, and Tsar Alexander. She is best known for her readings of Josephine, and Napoleon. She predicted his rise to, and fall from power. The Lenormand uses only 36 cards, as opposed to the 78 cards in the tarot, and there are no reversals.

In this lively, and entertaining class, you will learn a quick way to begin to read. You will be reading the cards immediately, and you will be confidently reading for yourself, as well as for your fellow classmates. This immersive course is easy, interactive, and fun. You begin looking at the cards intuitively, instead of spending hours memorizing lists of boring meanings.
Uncover the simple meanings of the cards.
• Discover how placement affects the strength of the card.
• Master the various ways to read a group of cards.
• Sense how card meanings can change with the other cards nearby.
• Grasp the many variations of a simple three-card reading, before moving on to master the Petit, and finally the Grand Tableau.

Please bring an empty spiral notebook and pen, or pencil, to begin to create your Lenormand journal. You will need a Lenormand card deck (not a Tarot deck of cards), as we will be teaching using that system. Michael recommends either the Blue Owl or the Rana George deck. You can purchase a deck at one of the local metaphysical shops, or online. This three-evening course will build upon the information in the previous class, so plan to attend all three evenings.
